lantern lighting
I have a thing for lanterns lately. Whether big or small, white or colorful, metal or paper they can be a lovely option if chandeliers aren't your thing.

happy holidays!
I've been on a bit of a blog-vacation while finishing up my last semester of design school and heading off on vacation with the fam! Right now we're in Killington, VT for skiing and relaxation and then it's home to the parents' for Christmas. But I wanted to send out some holiday cheer in the form of a few incredibly beautiful Christmas decor ideas. I'm not really a red and green kind of girl, so I've gathered some images of alternative holiday color options... enjoy and happy holidays!!

dutch designs
Some really beautiful spaces from Dutch magazine VTWonen. They really know how to keep it simple, fresh and relaxing over there in The Netherlands. Just a little inspiration for the rest of the week!
