box in nature
Talk about mixing modern architecture with nature! This is a library called "The Brain" which I find to be incredibly inspiring. Not sure which I would do more of here, read or stare off into the woods daydreaming.

dress up your drapery
Curtains shouldn't just be used to create privacy or block out the sun... use them to create a focal point and add to the ambiance of your space. There are all different ways to hang them and dress them up, so have a little fun with them!
Hang them in a doorway...
Puddle them on the floor...
Gather them at the top...
Gather them on the bottom...
Use a cornice at the top to create a smooth look with an uneven ceiling...
Highlight the architecture of a space and add a little drama...
Tie them back loosely...
Add some fun, flirty trim - or flowers!
Layer with them a shade and cornice for extra glamour...
Use one panel per window when you have two side by side, it almost makes it seem like there's only one large window...
Let them hang straight, but add volume with extra material...
