neutral bedrooms

Bedrooms should be soothing calm places we retreat in. The best way to achieve this is with a neutral soft palette. Below are some examples of a neutral palette done in several styles.... country, rustic and sophisticated.

Here are some tips of the trade:
  • Use panel drapes to soften your space
  • Put a bench at the end of the bed
  • Keep your wall color soft and airy
  • Mix and match your side tables for visual interest
  • Don't forget a fun chandelier or light fixture to create alittle sophistication for your space

sweet home alabama

This Alabama home has just enough elegance without being stuffy.  I love the look of the benches at the counter.  And how clever are the screens around the bathtub instead of having shades on all the windows!

all about details

Neutral tones, a touch of turquoise and a lot of attention to detail make this home absolutely perfect!  Everything from the wood panelled ceilings to the sparkling chandeliers to the spindles on the stair rail are so well thought out.  I will be spending the rest of the day dreaming about moving in here!
